Jamie Kaplan leads Harlan Global Manufacturing as Chief Executive Officer, guiding the company’s long-term vision while building on its family-owned foundation. He joined Harlan as President in 1989, modernized the company’s systems and in 1993 launched the TransCon low-profile tractor, which remains one of Harlan’s highest-volume products.

Under his leadership, Harlan has expanded into OEM parts manufacturing, lithium-ion electric tractors and the E-Conversion Kit, serving aviation, military and commercial customers worldwide. Jamie is committed to sustainable manufacturing and a safer, more efficient and greener future for the ground support industry, with a focus on accountability and measurable results.

Jim Kaplan founded Harlan in 1962 as a small forklift repair business.
